Nicole Bandera, LMSW, is a licensed master social worker utilizing a systems-based, collaborative approach to promote overall well-being. She holds a Master of Social Work from Arizona State University and has experience working with children and adults addressing depression, anxiety, parenting concerns, relationship challenges, transition-to-adulthood issues, grief, domestic violence, and abuse. She is trained in evidence-based therapy approaches, including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Person-Centered Therapy. She has approximately seven years of experience supporting first responders and their families in roles including mental health coordination, risk assessment, Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) interventions, wellness checks, and counseling services. Her work reflects a focused understanding of the unique occupational stressors of first responders and their impact on individual and family functioning.
